Mandira Bedi’s husband and film producer Raj Kaushal died at the age of 49 on Wednesday morning. Raj has also worked as a director and producer on various commercials. Celebrities have been expressing their condolences on social media since the news broke. And Mandira’s, as well as the filmmaker’s close friends, rushed to attend the death rituals.
Filmmaker Onir, who worked with Raj Kaushal in the 2005 film My Brother Nikhil, announced the news of his death on social media and he tweeted: “Gone too soon. We lost filmmaker and producer Raj Kaushal this morning. Very sad. He was one of the producers of my first film My Brother Nikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Raj Kaushal allegedly spent the weekend with a group of friends, including Neha Dhupia, who posted on Instagram: “Raj, we took this picture to create more and more memories. Can’t believe you are not with us anymore. Mandira , my strong, strong girl, I am at a loss of words. My heart belongs to Vir and Tara. I’m shaken up and in shock and disbelief as I write this, RIP Raj.

Dino Morea is still trying to come to grips with filmmaker Raj Kaushal’s unexpected death, and he has no idea how his wife, actress Mandira Bedi, is taking the news.
Morea said .“He’ll always be the director of my first ever film. I’ll never forget how he made me feel and the experiences we had, and what we went through while shooting that film. Raj will always be on my mind,”
Raj Kaushal was a film producer, writer, and director who directed films such as Pyaar Mein Kabhie Kabhie, Shaadi Ka Ladoo, and Anthony Kaun Hai. He started off as a copywriter. In 1998, he founded his own advertising production firm and has since directed over 800 advertisements. He backed the film, My Brother… Nikhil, which was released in 2005.
