Indian social media users are horrified after a shocking video of three boys brutally beating a dog to death went viral. Bruno,
Bruno, a nine-year-old black Labrador, was brutally battered to death by three adolescents at the Adimalathura beach in Thiruvananthapuram’s Vizhinjam district. The heinous incident was exposed after one of Bruno’s owners posted a video of the attack on social media.
According to reports, the dog was brutally attacked by the youngsters for supposedly lying under one of the accused’s boat. The dog can be seen desperately hanging by his neck from the side of the boat on a fishhook in the 1-minute 30-second video, which has now gone viral on social media platforms. The injured dog is repeatedly beaten with a big stick by a youngster until his body becomes motionless and weak.

Following the incident’s disclosure, users and celebrities alike took to social media to protest the horrific attack and demand justice. The culprits were allegedly caught and released on bail.
Many Indian actress took to their Instagram stories and wrote,
“Disgusting!!! They cannot get away with this!!! Until they are punished people with this twisted mindset are not going to change!!!”
Anushka Sharma too reacted and wrote “Monsters” as she slammed the accused.
Disha Patani wrote, “Hope the culprits are found and severely punished.”
Following public anger over the incident, three people were arrested, including a little boy. Sunil, 22, Sylvester, 20, and a 17-year-old kid were charged with animal maiming under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and an Indian Penal Code clause.
